This week in Tulsa, OK!

Praise Jesus! Last week we were in Tulsa. Now, when we are in Tulsa, we play a venue on the Oral Roberts University campus. This school is INSANELY religious. We have to watch our language and everything. Anyway, this is on the campus. It is a HUGE bronze sculpture of hands in prayer. It is the largest bronze sculpture in the world. INSANE! Oh, and the whole campus is coverd in this goldish/bronze plating! It's nuts. And the campus looks like the set of "The Jetsons." It's great. One of our locals put it best when she called it "Six Flags over Jesus!" I died laughing!

I also went see a production of "All in the Timing." I love this play, or collection of plays. Overall, it was ok. A few of the actors did not get the concept that in order for "All in the Timing" to be good ... YOU NEED TIMING! It started to sound like they didn't know what the next line was. Yikes! But, the costume and set choices were cool!

Besides that, I ate. That's pretty much ALL I did! There was a Sonic right next to the hotel, so I had lots of that. My friend Kristin raves about the Breakfast Burrito and Sunrise Smoothie. Well, I tried them, and I think I had that for breakfast like 5 times! Yum Yum Yum!

I also had my first Indian food experience. It was great! I ate so much! And then went back later in the week for the lunch buffet! WOO HOO!

Yah, that's all the empty plates, cause my fat ass was the one eating all the leftovers! HA!

Well, I'm actually in Vegas at the moment, and that's why I haven't been blogging. I've been trying to be exciting and seeing things, but I've mostly just been hanging out in the room til about noon, and then getting my ass up. So, sorry!

I'll catch up next week .... promise!

We are here to PUMP .... YOU UP!

So, in my quest to my hottie body, this week I tried out "Body Pump." Body Pump is like aerobics with weights. Pretty fun!

Well, a few of us went and had a good time. We all "felt the burn" and were dripping with sweat after. Good class.

ALSO, we were all mad sore the next day. AND the day after that! HAHA!

Well, we went back this morning. This girl was not as good as the first girls. She totally missed Body Pump rehearsal. I think I remembered the class better than she did!

Anyway, it was fun. I'll totally do it again! And all of you should try it out!

P.S. Mark Morgan - the lady who led the first class looked like Margo Morganstein from the early years, just with gray hair. I giggled every time I looked at her! LOVE YOU HONEY!!!

Oh, and no one really looks like this in the Body Pump class. It's just a bunch of housewives who WANT to look like that! But if these cuties were in the class, I'd totally go all the time!

Reading Rainbow!

So, I've actually been reading lately! I finally finished reading the last of the "Sleeping Beauty" trilogy, so I moved on to Sellevision by Augusten Burroughs. Dustin reccomended it to me, so I picked it up. It was great! A fun little read. I've seen a few of you talk of other books by him, so I might have to check them out, too!

I then moved on to The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time by Mark Haddon. This book was in the "library" of books at work - which is basically a box of books that other people have read and don't want to carry in their luggage. It was great! I finished it in a day.

I am now reading My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult. A few of the other girls on tour have read it, and it's good! Check it out!

After that, I am moving on to The Five People You Meet In Heaven. Lots of reading to do!

Are you fucking kidding me!

So, in Beaumont, this was left in our room. I'm ASSUMING that it was left by a maid.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? That's your freaking JOB! You clean rooms! Why would I have to keep my room clean? You aren't my mother!

Insanity!

This week in... El Paso, TX!

Ok, so ... a lot happened this week!

  • Well, we went to Carlsbad Caverns ... but I already wrote about all that!

  • We had a Sedar! Shari, Dani, and Rachel shared a little Jewish tradition with us. Here's a few pics from that!

The Sedar plate!

Shari eating matzah!

  • Instead of doing an Easter brunch on Sunday, when we had shows, we went to dinner earlier in the week! We went to an Italian place called Dominic's. The food was really good, and the 'mo of a waiter we had was great! HAHA!

  • Besides that, we just did a shitload of eating! We went to P.F. Chang's one night. We went to a grat BBQ place called State Line BBQ twice! AND we had kitchens, so I cooked 3 times! Dustin, I made your enchiladas! They were great!

So, now I am in Tulsa, OK! Fun times! Til next week!

CarlsBADASS Caverns!

Well, since this week seems to be full of fun exciting things, I'll post throughout the week, instead of just at the end of the week. Don't worry, I'll do a recap for those who can't keep up.

So, Tuesday we went to Carlsbad Caverns! We (Jeffo, Rachel, Christa and I) hopped in the car and drove on down to New Mexico. Well, Jeffo drove - I had severe car narcolepsy and slept the whole time.

Here a pic from the start of the hike into the caverns. Enough said.

It was really pretty in there. It's amazing what nature can do. Here's a few pics ...

There was also a rock formation that looked like a boob. My camera died before we got to it. Once I get a picture of it, I'll post it.

Also, there was an audio tour that we listened to. It was narrated by Emily Baker and Brad Kincade. I'd just like to give them a shout out. They were overly chessy and it made the experience even better! Good job kids!

CarlsBASASS Caverns - B
Emily and Brad - A
Rocks that look like boobs - A+! Just wait til I get a picture!

This week in Bossier City, LA and Beaumont, TX!

So, this week was a pretty boring week. We'll just do a few highlights!

Bossier City:

  1. Burnt in the tanning bed. Ouch
  2. No one wanted to share the pitcher of sangria I bought when we went to dinner at Carrabba's - so I drank most of it by myself.
  3. Lots of gym! Go me! Go me!
  4. Smoothie King. Oh how I love me a smoothie!

Beaumont, TX:

  1. The parents came to visit! They got to see me in Count, which was pretty cool. Mom cried when they left ... she's crazy. She'll be crying when I am back in July and I don't leave in a few weeks! HAHA!
  2. Jello shots! Jeffo and I went to the bar, and moments after we got there, this guy wants to buy us Jello shots. We say ok, and the guy buys ALL the Jello shots. 29 to be exact! They were in little syringes - and Jeffo and I were fed them. We finished them in about 3-5 minutes!
  3. Waffle House! I ate there twice. I freaking love the Waffle House. Grits - YUM!

Well, that was about it! It was our last split week for a while - THANK GOD! We are in El Paso this week. We're doing lots of celebrating this week - Easter, Passover, Jeffo's B-day! So I'll have lots to write about and lots of pics to post for next week! Til then!

The 229!

So, I am happy to announce that ...

MY BROTHER HAS A BLOG!

See, my brother is hilarious. When him and I get together, it's PURE MADNESS! We laugh and laugh ... oh good times.

So, go check out his blog ... http://the229.blogspot.com !

P.S. To show you the madness that occurs when we get together, this is a pic of Kerri -my cousin, Cody - my brother, and I. We had just finished watching America's Next Top Model, so we decided to have a photo shoot. Who do YOU think will win?

My dream guys....

So, earlier I posted about my starting to work out, and I said I wanted to look like the guy in the pic I posted.

Well, I found two more pics of these guys. They are dreamy!

PUMP IT!

So, I started working out. Today marks a week of working out. I started last week with some walking on a treadmill and some crunches ... and I've been to the gym 4 days in a row!

I feel great. Sore, yes - but I feel good. I have more energy, and I'm not just sitting around my hotel room constantly checking my Myspace account!

So, I am gonna go from that - to this!

HA! Maybe I can go test the new gym body out at the bar and see if I get some free drinks! HOLLA!

Fake and Bake

I went tanning at the tanning salon next to our hotel. Now, I was out in the sun at Sprink Break and in Corpus. No burning. So, I thought that I would be fine in the tanning bed.

Well, I wasn't. Although the redness is fading, thanks to Maui Babe lotion from Hawaii (which is amazing stuff), I'm burnt. It hurts a little.

So, in looking for a pic to put on this post, I found this. It's for the Sock-It - a sock type thing for guys to wear when they are tanning so they don't have tan line, but don't get their wanker burnt.

I'd like to mention that my wanker is NOT burnt. Just the rest of me. Thank God!

WTF?

While checking my e-mail, I see this picture on the little news blurbs that come up when you first sign on to AOL. They say Whitney is back on crack! Oh, and this is a picture of her crack den ...

Oh, it's not right, but it's ok!

Moist...

"Moist" was the theme of our bus trip today. Well, we left Lubbock on our way to Bossier City, LA at 4 AM. People were all spread out on the bus, with blankets and pillows and whatnot. People were sleeping on the floor, in the aisles, everywhere.

I say all this because after our breakfast stop, we all get back on the bus to keep on truckin' to Bossier City. Well, the road that the bus driver THOUGHT lead to the interstate actually was a dead end. She SLAMS on the breaks, and everyone's shit goes flying to the front of the bus. Well, someone had a gallon of water in the overhead storage, and it went flying into the aisle and got EVERYTHING wet. Soaked pillows, blankets, carry-ons - EVERYTHING! After the initial shock of it happening, I started laughing ... I am so cruel.

Well, payback is a bitch. See, after that happened, we get back on the road. And it is hot. The sun is BEATING down through the window. I have no shade to pull down. And the air conditioner isn't working. So, I was also soaking wet once we arrived in Bossier City. UGH!

This week in ... Corpus Christi and Lubbock, TX!

This week we played two cities. The beginning of the week was spent in Corpus Christi. This is a picture of the Selena memorial. You know - Selena ... JLo played her in the movie ... Anyway, that's her.

Didn't do that much in Corpus. During split weeks, we really don't have days off. The days we travel are considered our days off ... BULLSHIT! Anyway, we did take some time between shows on Wednesday to spend a little time at Corpus Christi Beach. A little beach time can't hurt! Here's a pic of Kristin and M.E. on the beach, and trying to look innocent! :)

We headed to Lubbock at 4AM on Thursday. Well, Wednesday night, Carrie, Jason, and I went and enjoyed $1 wells at the local gay bar. So, we were a little tipsy for the bus ride. But, I sure did sleep well on the bus.

We then traveled to Lubbock. I LUB LUBBOCK! Haha! Well, there's not much that Lubbock has to offer, BUT we did enjoy the little that it DID offer.

First, we checked out Prairie Dog Town. Yah, that's right. Prairie Dogs! It was pretty much just this open field in a park which a bunch of prairie dogs. The funny part of it - we took SO MANY PICTURES!!! They really didn't do much, but we took so many pictures of it. They were just too cute!

We also went to the Buddy Holly museum, and to his grave. I'm not a huge Buddy Holly fan, but it was cool that someone so famous lived and was buried in a small town like Lubbock. Here's a few pics from that ...

I'd also like to give a shout out to Brian Hughes - the gay weatherman here in Lubbock. We met him last year when I was here on tour, and we stopped by the venue this year to say hi! We went out with him last night, and he picked up the tab (which he forgot to pay before we left, btw. Shows ya how much we had to drink!) Anyway, we caught him on the news a few times, and he is the GAYEST thing. It's hilarious!

So, that was this week. Next week we head to Bossier City, LA and Beaumont. TX!
