Circles...

So ya - this is what life kinda feels like at the moment. I've been feeling like this a lot lately. Just not really sure where life's headed - not sure if I'm on the right path - not sure if I'm making the right decisions - not sure what's going to happen next.
And ususally, that's ok for me. I kinda like the uncertainty of life. Kinda going with the flow.
But not lately. I've been craving stability lately.
I'm totally getting old.

Shhhh .... silence is golden!

I'm so over people running their mouths!
You know, I've been known to talk bad about people. I'll admit it.
But, it just seems lately that people can't keep their mouths shut.
So people ... mind your own business.
Oh, and if you do have a problem with someone, I'd suggest bringing it up with THAT person, instead of telling everyone else first.
Jeez!

I'm a slave!

To Starbucks!
So, I've been promoted to a shift supervisor. YEAH ME! Yah, so I'm all in charge and shit - which is cool.
But it's STRESSFUL! I'm always running around like a chicken with it's head cut off, and the extra responsibility makes my pretty little head hurt sometimes.
But, it's fun! And it's more money! So, HOLLA!
So, that's why I haven't been blogging .... I've been at work. :)

Thoughts on relationships...

Ya know, I'm getting older. Ya - I said it. And I'm getting to that point where I'd like to settle down with someone. Or at least have someone that I can call to say goodnight to - or go to dinner with.
But it seems like there is some kinda force that keeps me from being in, or keeping a relationship. And, I'm not being all crazy - like no one likes me or that kinda thing. It's like there's always a dark cloud that comes and kills the picnic.
My friend Jonathan says that he'll be single forever. I hate to think that way - I have a fear of being old and alone.
They say that you get wise in your old age. Why do I find everything just more confusing?

Orange Mocha!

So, this is an orange mocha! It's become one of my favorites at the 'Bux, but unfortunately, they'll soon be getting rid of the orange syrup and I won't be able to get in anymore.

But do you remember these....?
Yah! The chocolate orange things that you'd break apart! Yummy. An orange mocha tastes JUST like that!
I enjoy that the wrapper says "Whack and Unwrap!" HA!
So, go see if you can get an orange mocha before they run out. "Orange" you glad I told you? HAHAHA!

A New "Project"

Yah, so, my brother is directing this at the local university. And I went and auditioned.
Now, you are probably thinking - Why'd he bother auditioning? It's his brother! Of course he'll get in the show.
Not so much my friends! Cody's probably harder on me than anyone. Our family is like that. Anyway, I went and auditioned and was INSANELY NERVOUS! Why - no clue - but I was. But, Cody said it was one of the better performances he's seen me do, and I guess it paid off, cause I got cast! WEE!
I'm happy to be doing another show. And at a university (where they have money!!!) and not just community theatre. And I'm thrilled to work with Cody again. He's a great teacher, and i think that this will be a really great show to work on!
So, yeah me!

Hey everyone! Sorry that I haven't been keeping up with the blog, but life has been pretty busy this summer! With the tour in Asia and the trip to NY, there wasn't much blogging time. But, I'm back home, and back to a routine of sorts, so the blogging is back!
I'm also back at Starbucks. We actually just opened a new store in Broussard, which is a town about 30 min from where I live. So, I'm working there now, and doing the little commute every morning. But, I love it! It's a great store, and a great team working there - which totally makes it worth the drive.
We opened this past Friday, and I was there earlier that week, setting the store up, opening what seemed like a never-ending sea of cardborad boxes! My fingers are still all beat up from that! But, we set it all up, and I was there at 6 AM Friday to see the first customer come in. What a cool experience!
So, now that the store is all up on it's feet - I'm getting a promotion! They are going to start training me to be a shift supervisor soon. YAH! Casey's in CHARGE!!! So, that'll be a cool new experience, too!
So, that's what I've been up to. I'll post some stuff about Asia and NY soon, too!

WHOPPUH!

I went to Burger King tonight after rehearsal. Well, there was a line in the drive-thru, so I decided that I'd just hop on inside. Why not?
So, I go in, and the place is pretty empty. Awesome - I'll be in and out of here. Well, as I walk up to the register, the woman walks away and starts fixing the orders that have already been taken. Ok, fast forward about 3 or 5 minutes. She FINALLY takes my order - which she did wrong, and I had to correct her - and it's back to getting the orders out.
Well, she starts talking to the chick that is fixing the food in the back. A big ol' ghetto conversation commences, all about how people are talking behind other people's backs, and how "I do my job" blah blah blah. It was awesome!
So, I just wanted to give a shout out to the ghetto Burger King. Although it took forever toget my food, and there was no bacon on my burger ... it was entertaining!

Reborn!

I've been home from Asia for about a week now. It's great being home - seeing all the family and friends.
Of course, I've been TOTALLY lazy - which is always fun. But actually, I have been slightly productive. I went back to Starbucks, and they want to hire me back as a shift supervisor. I've been through one interview already, and I'm waiting for the next one. I'm really looking forward to getting back to work.
I'm also in rehearsals for the show that we are taking to New York. That is going well - and it seems like that will be happening before we know it!
But, besides all that - I'm going to start blogging again. I've been a total slacker, so it's time to get back on the wagon!
I hope people still read this!

One Week!

Yes, in the time that it takes this little black child to learn not to urinate all over himself, I will be home in the U.S.! GOD, I CAN'T WAIT!
Now don't go thinking that I haven't been having a good time here in Asia. Overall, yes, I've had a blast. But as for the Phillipines - not my fave! Once I get back in the states, there will be a series of blogs all about the Phillipines.
But, as I said, I'll be back home in a week, so get ready for more hot blogging action - cause I'm sure I'll have serious jetlag and there will be nothing else to do!
So, YEAH for coming home. I'm so excited that I might just shit myself. But thankfully, I have a week to get potty trained!

Where the sidewalk ends ....

We've been told since we were small children that you should look both ways before you cross the street. For our safety.
Well, here I am ... standing at the end of a sidewalk, staring at the road that lies before me. I've got to look both ways. I've got to look back at the past. I've got to look at what's been done before. I've got to look at the paths that have already been traveled and the journey that has gotten me to where I am today. I've got to look back at all I've learned.
But I must also look towards the future. I have to look at all that lies before me, all that has yet to be experienced. There are so many other roads to travel down, sights to be seen, chapters to be written. So many roads -decisions -choices lie before me.
So I stand at the edge. I know that I must take that step. Step into the oncoming traffic. But looking both ways first, to make sure that the path is clear.

I'm not dead!

Ok, I know that it has been ages since I updated my blog and I am sure that no one even reads it anymore! SORRY! Internet overseas has been a bitch. My apologies!
But, I've also had no time because I've been doing fun and exciting things overseas. Once I get home and have nothing to do, I'll blog all about the fun times that I had. But for now, I'll just share what I did last night ....

That's right kids - I saw Christina Aguilera in the Phillipines! We went to her concert last night and I must say that I have a new respect for her. This bitch is fucking AMAZING! She screamed her little heart out the whole concert and she sounded GREAT!
We had so much fun! So, go watch clips of it on youtube. And then you can say ... oh, I know a guy who saw it! HAHA!
Much love to whoever still reads this!
