In just a few weeks, I'll be packing my bags and heading to NYC. Thanks to some amazing friends, I will be housesitting for them for the month and living rent-free. I have about a month to find a job. Ya - I'm freaking out. I've been looking around on Craigslist, but there's really not much I can do until I get there.
So this goes out to all of you out there who've moved to NYC, or currently live in NYC - What did you do when you first moved? What should I do to find a job? And leads, hints, suggestions, openings, etc?

I can hook you up with a good friend of mine that works for one of the theatres and the TKTS booth marketing stuff....he may be able to help you out =)
