Dude, I love this stuff. It taste great and it is good for you. Yum Yum!
What's your fave drink? (yah, that's right, I just stole the "afterthought" question from Dustin's blog! haha)
a journey into my head ... you might want to bring a flashlight!

all deserved the amazing new bodies they have and the new leases on life that they now have also. Makes me want to go work out more, ya know! Oh, and here is what Matt looks like now...

Ok, I LOVE RENT! I always have. I've seen the stage production 4 times. I know all the words to all the songs, and even some of the dialogue. I even have Idina Menzel's CD "Still I Can't Be Still." Oh yah, I love it
So, I drove an hour to see the movie last night with my friend Blake, who is also a total Rent-head. We used to sing along to the CD all the time. We used to get a bunch of our friends together and act it out in his living room (yah I know, FREAKS!) So, we went to see it at 7:15, ut it was sold out. So we waited 3 1/2 hours for the next showing. YAH RENT! We were so excited!
Then the movie started. And honestly - I was not into it as I would be if I was seeing it on stage. I've always loved it on stage and have been totally into it. That feeling just didn't transfer well on the big screen.
The beginning was all out of whack - things in different orders. It was weird hearing what usually is sung only being spoken. I mean, overall, it was good. Rosario Dawson did a good job and Tracie Thoms was great. She WAY rocked it out! Some things were really great, but some things were just way dissapointing.
Personally, if you've never seen it on stage, then sure - go see the movie. I guess after lusting over the stage version for so long, it was hard to take in the movie. But, I still liked it. And I still cried! :)
Rent movie - B-

Well, after they did 3 shows (haha, WORK BITCHES!), my parents invited the entire cast over for BBQ! It was awesome. There were about 20 -25 people from the cast, PLUS my family! So it was INSANE! But, everyone ate like fat girls and had a great time. A few people even rode our horse. As always, it was mass insanity, as is most of my family gatherings!
Well, I needed alcohol after all that, so we went out to the bar. It was awesome having all my Lafayette friends, PLUS my Sesame friends there. I also ran into some great friends from years gone by, so it was a great night. Lots of laughs, lots of drinks, FUN ALL AROUND!
So, here's BIG LOVE to all my Sesame peeps out there. You guys are all awesome and I wish I could be out there with you. But, children in HOLLAND need entertainment, too!
Go check out http://www.sesamestreetlive.com to see when they are in your town!

movie, I don't think I want to eat McDonald's for a LONG LONG time. Sorry Ronald. So, movie night was fun ... and it totally beats lube wrestling at the local gay bar. ;)

Yah, that's about how much money is in my checking account right now. Why, you ask? Well, because I was forgotten about! While in rehearsals, they forgot to pay me. There I was, waiting to get my paycheck just like everyone else ... but no, I DIDN'T! I was forgotten about. Well, guess who's gonna be paying for the overdraft charges? Trust me, I didn't forget!

aring their throats! Anyway, I have a flight at 9 AM and it is currently 7 PM the night before - and I haven't packed a thing! :) Actually, I am still washing clothes that I'll be bringing with me. And of course, I will bring TWICE the amount of clothes I will actually wear. It's always better to be prepared ... and to have choices! I hope everyone out there is doing well, and I'll keep everyone updated on how rehearsals go. For any of you that I might see in the next few days ... I can't wait to see you guys!!! Well, I better attempt to start packing ...
