Sudoku...
Ok, do you guys know about these crazy puzzle things that are a big thing right now? It's sudoku - a logic puzzle thing where you have to fill in he blanks with the right numbers, blah blah blah. Well, they are HARD! My roomie loves them, and has about 3 or 4 books of puzzles with her. She always encourages me to do them too. I usually can get through one pretty fast, since I stick to the quick and easy puzzles. Instert jokes about Casey liking it quick and easy here. :) ANYWAY, after I master the first puzzle, I try my luck at another ... AND IT IS IMPOSSIBLE! I will stare at these stupid little boxes for hours and not be able to figure it out. So, Mr. Sudoku ... I hate you!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
LET IT SNOW!!!
Ok, so yesterday we had another 3 show day into a travel day! Oh, we were all looking forward to the madness that this travel day had in store for us. Well, we packed our bags and headed to the venue to kick out 3 last shows. Once we get there, we find out that there is supposed to be a snowstorm later in the day. If it was too bad, we were going to have to stay and travel the next day. But wait - we jsut checked out of our hotel rooms? Oh, this was looking bad!
Well, we did travel last night. But, after being in the venue all day, we walked outside to find that about a foot of snow was now on the ground - and it was still snowing! OH, fun times lie ahead! Well, we got food, and got on the bus, and started our trip. Well, the trip was supposed to take about 2 or 3 hours normally. Well, when we stopped to use the bathroom at a gas station, we have been on the road for about 2.5 hours, and we had about 2 hours to go! We left Breda at about 7:15 and didn't get to Groningen til about 12:15! 5 HOURS!! It's ok, we are now here, and even though everything is covered in snow, we are going out tonight to ring in the new year! I hope everyone has a fun and safe NYE, and I'll see you all in the new year!

My Achy Breaky Heart!
Dude! Did anyone else out there know that Billy Ray Cyrus had a TV series? My roommate Christina and I were just sitting in our hotel room in Holland, TRYING to fall asleep, and this sitcom comes on. It's another run of the mill hospital shows. But then as I am watching, I say ... "Hey, that looks like Billy Ray Cyrus." She laughs at me, but then the credits start and we see ...
CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT? I love it! I am glad to see that he has moved past his "Achy Breaky" phase and did something else. The show was entertaining for midnight TV. The only thing that bothers me is imagining Billy Ray Cyrus being a doctor. I mean, would you be comfortable with a doctor with a mullet and a country accent? I mean- really! Anyway, good job Billy Ray!
Shopping...
Ok, so there are LOADS of shops close to our hotel here in Breda. And, as we actually had some time off today, I decided to go walk around the shops and look for something cute to wear for NYE. Well, NO SUCH LUCK. Nothing said "Hey, BUY ME!" There was some cute stuff here or there, but nothing that I just HAD to buy. Sad sad sad. I hope that there are some stores in Groningen! If so, I have ALL of NYE day to go shopping. If not, I'll just have to wear something out of my suitcase! BLAH!

I STILL HATE TRAVEL DAYS!!!!
Ok, so I hate travel days. I always have. It's the day on tour when you have to pack all your shit, load it onto a bus or plane or whatever, and travel to the next city. These days are always filled with lots of drama and catastrophe! And I hate them. These are always the WORST days for me. I am always in a bad mood. I even made a shirt that says .. "I HATE TRAVEL DAYS!" And oh, did I need that shirt!
So, we have a 3 shows day today, then we were supposed to go back to the hotel to get our luggage and head to the next city. So, I packed all my stuff this morn at 9, brought it downstairs, and went off to work to do 3 shows! WOO HOO! Well, after the shows, the bus that we were traveling in was going to pick us up at the venue and take us to the hotel, then off to Breda. WELL! He totally did NOT know where he was going, and we ended up driving around for a half hour. So, once we finally get on the right track, and are minutes from the hotel - HE HITS A CAR! Not as bad as this pic - he went to change lanes, and kinda pushed the car more than hit it. So, we were stuck in the middle of the road, hotel in sight, for about another hour. FINALLY, we get our stuff and head off. WELL, I fall asleep and wake up to us being lost and following these random people who were helping us find our way. Then we get to the hotel, but we think it is the wrong one, but it was the right one. UGH! TOO MUCH! And, it's the FIRST travel day! What else lies in store for us?
Holidays!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!!! I hope that everyone had a great holiday! We had fun here in Rotterdam. It wasn't home - which is where we all wanted to be - but we were all together, which was better than nothing. We had Christmas dinner down at the hotel, and Anna (who's in the picture) sang an awesome version of "The 12 Days of Christmas" dealing with our tour. So funny! I love this girl - She cracks my shit up.
Secret Santa was fun! Darren was my Secret Santa, and I think he got me the best thing that I could ever get... DESPERATE HOUSEVIVES ON DVD! Oh, I was SOOOOOO excited! I can't wait to crack that open and watch my girls!
Here are some other pics from our holidays!

Fun in Rotterdam...
So, not much has been happenin' here in Rotterdam. We opened on Wednesday night! There was a good crowd, and it was nice to finally have an audience. After that, there was this press photo shoot, which was completely ridiculous. We all had to stand there in costume - AFTER having just done a show- to pretty much be a background for our live performers. BULLSHIT! Well, after that there was a media party thingy for all of us. There was free alcohol, and some food. THEN, we all decided to go out and do some celebrating US style, so we hit the bar. Here's a few pics from the bar. I drank about 4 glasses of wine at the media party, and then one at this bar, then we went to a gay bar, where I got COMPLETELY TRASHED! haha. We were getting shots that tasted like licorice - which I hate! I ended up partially throwing up on the way home on a bicycle parked on the side of the road. Sorry bike! Anyway, we had a great opening and a really fun night! Oh, and we all made it to work the next day and pumped out another great show!
FAT GURL UPDATE! - So, went to McDonald's twice now. The McNuggets here are better than the ones in the US! Oh, and we went to this one restaurant last night. OH MY GOD! It was good. There was SO MUCH FOOD! And they gave us free coffee afterwards! Thanks nice restaurant people! I might have to go back! :) Here's some pics from dinner

More Pics from Rotterdam
Look who it is? Who knew that Optimus Prime from the Transformers was from Rotterdam? This was a sculpture just in the middle of the street. Awesome, ain't it?
Here's a pic of a canal in Rotterdam. Sorry Dad, I don't think that this is a dyke, so I dodn't stick my finger in it. HA!
So, as we were walking around last night, looking for a place to have a few drinks, we stumbled across this on the side of a building. Melly, I feel you girl. I FEEL YOU!!!
Allo Allemal!
Hey guys! Hello from HOLLAND! Well, I'm here and it's ok. Not as wild and exciting as Japan was. Just kinda mellow. It's a little chilly, but not as bad as I had expected. We got here on Sunday morning after being in an airplane for about 6 or 7 hours. We had all been traveling all day, so to get there at 8 AM was killer - and trying to stay awake so we got on a regular sleep schedule was even worse! As you can see, some of us were more tired than the rest. That's my roomie - Christina! We stayed awake, and are all good now! There is really not much happening here in Rotterdam - there are some museums and stuff, but nothing too fascinating.
FAT GURL UPDATE! The hotel offers a free breakfast, but they also have cold cuts and stuff out, so we have been hijacking food for lunch from the breakfast buffet! Look at all the food we took!
Well, I'll post some more pictures from Rotterdam! Hope everyone is doing good, and I hope to hear from you all soon!
-Casey!

So Long, Farewell!
Well, the time has come. It's 1:37 in the morning and my flight is at noon. I'm off to Holland - off to work.
For those of you in Lafayette - It has been awesome actually being home and getting to spend time with all of you. I've had some fun times, made some new friends, and ate WAY too much! :) I'll be back in 3 weeks. I'm sure you all will be anxiously awaiting my return!
For those of you that I'll see on tour - I can't WAIT to see you guys. A few days ago I was kinda bummed and wasn't looking forward to this. But now I am all ready to go. Now if I could only remember the choreography! haha
For all the rest - I'll miss ya just as much over there as I do now!
I plan on having Internet access there, so I'll try to keep you updated as much as possible. I've got a new digital camera too, so I'll be taking photo documentation of everything! Well, I'm off to finish packing! I love you all! Send me e-mails! Be back on Jan. 9th!

Hooked Again!
Damn you TELEVISION! I should have known that I would be addicted to Project Runway. Hello, it's like ANTM, but with CLOTHES! Challenges, supermodel hosts, fabulous eliminations! WHAT MORE CAN I ASK FOR? Umm, and the fact that it is on the SAME NIGHT that ANTM was on! I love it ... love it ... LOVE IT! Project Runway - You're IN!
Ho Ho Ho!
Don we now our gay apparel! Like this CD! I had this CD at one time - and it's the BEST! I mean, does it get any better than RuPaul singing a bunch of fun holiday tunes? NO! She does a fun "Santa Baby" and "Hard Candy Christmas" Not to mention the fun pics of her on the front! WOO CHILD! If anyone wants to buy this CD for me, go right ahead! It would be a great gift!

What to read???
Ok, so this is what I'm going to see for MANY MANY hours on my way to the Netherlands. Then, I'll be there for 3 weeks with nothing to watch on television but CNN (which can be very entertaining actually!) So, since you people always read - unlike me, who just watches WAY too much TV - let's get some book recommendations! What should I go grab from Barnes and Noble before I head out?
Laundry!
BLAH!
Yah, so I am totally not motivated to do ANYTHING! I haven't even been blogging as often as I usually do. I dunno - maybe I am in some little state of depression. Maybe it's the weather? I just don't feel like doing anything, or going anywhere, or hanging out with anyone. I have so many things that I need to get done before I head to the Netherlands on Saturday - but I have no desire to do any of it. Hell, in some ways, I don't even want to go to the Netherlands. Crazy huh?
What gets you guys out of a funky mood?

The Nutcracker
Last night my friend Kevin and I went and saw The Nutcracker here in Lafayette. I had seen it once or twice before, but it was his first time seeing it. For what it's worth - being a ballet in the middle of Louisiana - it was good. The principles were from a ballet company in Seattle, and they were great. A friend of mine that I hadn't seen in a while was in it, so that was fun. Overall, it was a great night, and it totally makes me want to get into a dance class. Maybe if I stay in one place long enough, I can get into some classes and maybe be in The Nutcracker one year? Who knows. So, I've seen the Nutcracker - we got our Christmas tree up - the weather is cold as hell - CHRISTMAS HAS BEGUN!!! I hope everyone has a great holiday!

The Great Escape
Ok, so there is an AWESOME commercial that is on TV here in Lafayette. It is for a place called "The Great Escape." It's a water massage place in the mall. I'd just like to let the good people at The Great Escape that your advertising dollars are well spent because I can't get that catchy little jingle out of my head. Now, imagine a very "Enya-like" song with these lyrics...
The Great Escape...
It feels good to get away
The Great Escape...
From the stress of a busy day
Let the water move you...
Let the water soothe you...
Just drift away to a peaceful place
The Great Escape
Doesn't that just relax you? I love this commercial. I might just have to go over there and try it out!
International Male is GAY!
That just screams gay! GAY GAY GAY! :)

A LA CUISINE!!!
So, last night I was watching Iron Chef on the Food Network with my friend Chris who came down to visit me. Chris LOVES the Food Network - Rachel Ray, Big Head Italian girl, Good Eats, and Iron Chef. Well, last night was a Christmas time food battle. And, what says Christmas more than chicken? Yah, chicken was the big ingredient. Anyway, they went off on this grand philosophy about chicken that I wanted to share with all of you.
"Breast meat is for a lady. Drumstick is for a gentleman."
What? That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard!
Dumb Iron Chef!

Still thirsty? PARCHED!!!
MATT'S A BIG LOSER!
So, that's a picture of Matt Hoover when he started on "The Biggest Loser." Tonight was the season finale and he won. He lost about 46% of his starting weight. That's almost half. THE GUY PRACTICALLY CUT HIMSELF IN HALF!!! They had the rest of the competitors on, and they all looked amazing. I give big props to all the people on "The Biggest Loser." It takes a lot of guts to get on television and deal with your weight issues. They all deserved the amazing new bodies they have and the new leases on life that they now have also. Makes me want to go work out more, ya know! Oh, and here is what Matt looks like now...

Damn DVR!!!
Ok, so I am totally having a crisis! Well, since I was not home last Wednesday because I was out seeing Rent, I totally missed America's Next Top Model. Well, I found out who got kicked off (which I am not happy about), so I totally want to see the episode. Well - here's where the drama is. See, our DVR picked this week to stop working. So, no ANTM was recorded. And sure, they replay it on Wednesday. BUT - that is the live season finale of The Biggest Loser. So, I can't watch both. AND I was planning on TiVo-ing "Debbie Does America" - this new show on TBS that looks really funny. When does it premier? TUESDAY!!! AGGHH!! What did I do before TiVo?

Lawn Chairs ... with wings!
Ok, so I hoped everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I hope you all ate tons and tons of food and got really fat. We can all start the new work out regimine on Monday.
Well, one thing that I am always thankful for is maxi pad commercials. Actually, any feminine product commercial. I mean, this is a hard market to work in. No one really wants to think about tampons or "freshness", nor do they want to be reminded of it while watching TV!
Well, I saw a great maxi pad commercial yesterday. It's just this maxi pad that unfolds itself and bends itself to look like a lawn chair. During this, there is a voice that is talking that ends with...
"If you're going to sit on it all day, it better be comfortable!"
Well, I'm not an expert on all this, but I seriously doubt that you SHOULD be sitting on one ALL DAY! But, I do agree that it should be comfortable. So, that's what I was thankful for this Thanksgiving.

HAPPY TURKEY DAY!!!
Mmmm, turkey! I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! I expect all of you to eat pounds and pounds of food, and then go into a a food coma. I'll be going to my aunt's house for the first time in like, 7 years. I was always working at Disney the 4 years I was there - and I was on the road for Thanksgiving the last few years. So, I am planning to pack it all in! After that, I am going to TWO other T-Day gatherings - where I'm sure I'll eat more! WOO HOO! Well, everyone eat up!
RENT!
Ok, I LOVE RENT! I always have. I've seen the stage production 4 times. I know all the words to all the songs, and even some of the dialogue. I even have Idina Menzel's CD "Still I Can't Be Still." Oh yah, I love it
So, I drove an hour to see the movie last night with my friend Blake, who is also a total Rent-head. We used to sing along to the CD all the time. We used to get a bunch of our friends together and act it out in his living room (yah I know, FREAKS!) So, we went to see it at 7:15, ut it was sold out. So we waited 3 1/2 hours for the next showing. YAH RENT! We were so excited!
Then the movie started. And honestly - I was not into it as I would be if I was seeing it on stage. I've always loved it on stage and have been totally into it. That feeling just didn't transfer well on the big screen.
The beginning was all out of whack - things in different orders. It was weird hearing what usually is sung only being spoken. I mean, overall, it was good. Rosario Dawson did a good job and Tracie Thoms was great. She WAY rocked it out! Some things were really great, but some things were just way dissapointing.
Personally, if you've never seen it on stage, then sure - go see the movie. I guess after lusting over the stage version for so long, it was hard to take in the movie. But, I still liked it. And I still cried! :)

Ma Brit's in the MIX!
Calling all queers! Britney Spears just released a CD of REMIXES! It'll go great with the new Madge CD if you are planning a rave. I'm glad to see that Ma Brit is still kickin' it. I hear through the gayvine that she has a new CD coming out soon too! Good for you Britney! Oh, now one of you go buy this CD so I can burn it! :)
